Well, it's official: we're moving. We'll be heading to Western Pennsylvania, north of Pittsburgh.
It's bittersweet. We're leaving a community where I've been my entire adult life and Erik has been here since 1997. We have a wonderful little bungalow that we love. There's the studio, friends, downtown Frederick, on and on. On the flip-side, Erik's job with be more secure and interesting. He'll be with the same company and making a very decent wage for the area. We'll be closer to Michigan and closer to one of my all time favorite people: Grace. The cost of living is much lower there, so we'll be able to save more money month-to-month and still live well. There are a lot of great places to enjoy the great outdoors, too.
Wish us luck and if you know anyone in the market for a great little bungalow, give a call!

Ah, now I understand the looking at listings.
Congratulations. :o)
I'd rather like to move to the Carribean. But then I have a mortal fear of hurricanes.
Maybe the Med then...
Congrats, condolences, and....are you going to be able to have chickens now? Happy (belated) birthday, too!
Probably no chickens, but I'll have a baby to keep me distracted ;-P
