Adoption Update

At last, we have received copies of Srushti's court documents from India! We have it in writing now that we are her official guardians. Seeing it written there in black and white really penetrated my heart. There it is: our names next to her name. Our names will be united forever and this is where it starts. We'll take these documents, along with some others that we provide to the immigration office in Baltimore. Once we file there, we'll be on our way to getting a visa and travel plans for our little girl. We are a little more than a month away.

Soon, we'll meet face-to-face. My heart flutters with anticipation.
