I cannot believe it actually worked. I have achieved yogurt. I am so excited, I'm jumping around the kitchen yelling, "I DID IT! MY CREATION LIVES! IT'S ALIVE!" I also finally found a use for alll that cheesecloth.

Sorry, couldn't resist. It'll be cool to see if you succeed in keeping it going like a sourdough. I failed. Maybe I'll try again sometime.
Josh's mom made yogurt at home and fed it to Josh and Justin when they were little. Only, she stored it in a mayonnaise jar. For years, her inlaws who had seen her feeding them out of it thought she had been feeding them mayonnaise!
